Policy Scope

● This policy is applicable to personal information that Weeyee collects and receives, including information related to your past use of Weeyee products and services. Personal information includes your name, address, email address, or phone number and so on, which is personally identifiable. We strictly protect the confidentiality of translated communications, but we place the terms and conditions of that commitment in our formal contracts with Clients.

● When you register we ask for information such as your name, email address, birth date, gender, ZIP code, occupation, industry, and personal interests. For some translation/interpretation products and services we might also ask for your address, credit card number, and information about your assets. When you register with Weeyee and sign in to our services, you are not anonymous to us.

● Weeyee collects information about your transactions with us and with some of our business partners, including information about your use of translation/interpretation products and services that we offer.

● Weeyee automatically receives and records information on our server logs from your browser, including your IP address, Weeyee cookie information, and the page you request.

● Weeyee uses information for the following general purposes: to customize the advertising and content you see, fulfill your requests for products and services, improve our services, contact you, conduct research, and provide anonymous reporting for internal and external clients.

Privacy Protection for Children

Our Website is not directed at children, and we will not accept or request personally identifiable information from individuals we know to be under 18.

No Obligation to Consider Employment Applications

Due to the nature of the Internet and the structure of our Website, we may receive
(i) substantially more applications through the Website than we are able or wish to review,
(ii) applications which do not meet the requirements for positions that are available, and
(iii) applications at times where no positions are currently available. Accordingly, there is no assurance that Weeyee will process or review materials that an Interpreter submits seeking employment with Weeyee, and Weeyee expressly disclaims any obligation to engage in such processing or review, and disclaims any obligation to respond to any Interpreter submissions.

We Do Not Disclose Information to Unaffiliated Third Parties; Limited Exceptions

We will not disclose your personally identifiable information to unaffiliated third parties without your express consent, except in the following limited circumstances:

● Our Site Vendors. We may employ other companies to perform functions on our behalf, such as maintaining the Website, providing services related to the Site, collecting information, responding to and sending electronic mail, or other functions necessary to our business. We may need to share your personally identifiable information with these companies (collectively, "Site Vendors"). We will provide Site Vendors with only that information necessary to perform their functions, and we will not allow them to use your personally identifiable information for any other purpose.

● Imminent Harm. We may reveal your personally identifiable information to attorneys, private investigator organizations or law enforcement agencies if we believe (a) that you are in risk of harm from another, or (b) that you are harming or interfering (or will imminently harm or interfere) with others or violating (either intentionally or unintentionally) our Terms and Conditions of Use or otherwise violating legal rights.

Weeyee will reveal your personally identifiable information, to the extent we reasonably believe we are required to do so by law, or to the extent needed to enforce contractual obligations between us. If we receive legal process calling for the disclosure of your personally identifiable information we will attempt to notify you via the email address you supplied during registration within a reasonable amount of time before we respond to the request, unless such notification is not permitted.

● Transfer of Site. Weeyee shall be entitled to transfer to a third party information it collects, including any personally identifiable information, in connection with a sale of all or substantially all of the assets of the business entity responsible for the information under this Policy, provided the acquiring third party has agreed to safeguard your personally identifiable information with protections that in all material respects are the same as or more protective than those set out in this Privacy Policy.

If we decide to change our privacy policy, we will prominently post those changes on our website so that you are aware of the information we collect, how we use it, and under what circumstances we disclose it.
